The St. Teresa of Avila Chapter of The Daughters of the King at Grace Church in the Mountains is part of an international order of women in the Episcopal, Lutheran and Roman Catholic Churches. Our mission is in the form of a vow to pray for our parish and rector, to pray daily for people on our own prayer list, and to provide service to the church in any way that would assist the priest. Our most visible service at Grace Church is to provide receptions for family members after funeral services for their loved ones. Currently, we have 18 members and one member in training. Members are identified by the unusual silver crosses they wear. At meetings on the second Saturday of each month, we study biblical lessons, spiritual literature, and other writings to support our mission.
