Message from the Rector
Welcome to Grace Church in beautiful Waynesville, NC. The natural beauty of the mountains inspires our worship in the “beauty of holiness” both within and beyond our church’s walls.
People from various walks of life gather around a common desire: to become ever more open to God’s transforming Grace. In our parish you’ll find retirees seeking new places to express their gifts, young families juggling careers and children, households of six and households of one, cradle Episcopalians and those who are seeking and finding comfort in the ancient liturgies of the Church and story of our faith.
While we come together each Sunday for worship, throughout the week we are busy striving to be God’s hands and feet in the world through our outreach ministries including our onsite Food Pantry and Grace Giving Garden, volunteering to help unsheltered neighbors at Pathways and Bethel House and supporting our community's kids at the Pigeon Center.
If you’ve never joined us on Sunday, I encourage you to come and then stay for coffee. I believe God is at work with us together and within each person who comes through our doors, contributing their gift of presence and receiving God’s gift of grace.
Peace be with you,
Joslyn+
