It has been a gift to read, view, and listen each of these Easter devotionals, and I am excited to be able to share them with you. Each person who volunteered to contribute to this devotional was given four scripture readings from the Daily Office, and was asked to read them, meditate on them, and create something that reflected what they found meaningful in them. Our community is filled with wonderfully talented folks who offered valuable insight, asked questions, created inspiring art, and even some music!
It is a vulnerable and courageous thing to share our own interpretations and reflections on Scripture, and I have great respect and gratitude for all who have offered a part of themselves and their time to this ministry. I hope that you, the reader, will as well. And, if you feel so called, to reach out to the person who contributed that day and tell them how their writing or art moved you or added a new perspective to your understanding. This work and sharing is all about weaving our stories and lives with one another's.
Suggestions on how to use this devotional:
However you choose to enjoy this devotional for these 50 days of Eastertide, I pray that these devotions will be a great addition to your personal and communal prayer practice in this season.
